I am new to this site I have a 15 week old daughter that is suffering really badly with eczema especially on her face. Was going out of my mind with worry till I found the Itchy Baby website. I am going to post my story on the board and maybe many of you will have had the same experiences I have.

Not enough information from medical professionals and a lot of oh things will get better....its not that bad....it will go soon... have led me to this site. I challenge anyone who is in the medical profession to spend 24 hours with my daughter and her itching to say that. At the moment every day is a struggle and i spend day and night holding her arms down off her face - for over 7 weeks now, she can wake at night hourly and if i turn my back on her for 2 minutes to get a nappy or wipes she scratches like mad and her face gets worse even with 24 hour a day scratch mittens she rubs like mad. She can lo longer be left to play on her mat there is no rest for either of us.
